The Challenge
As our client do not have the as-built drawings, it can be very risky to renovate and refurbish building as there are many unknown utilities. The Hotel plans to undergo an upgrade, structural analysis is required to allow the structural consultant to compute the existing structural strength and make sound decision and recommendations.
Our Approach & Result
Structural analysis with no disruptions to hotel operations
Jobs include to scan the RC beams, walls, and slabs to acquire the details such as rebar cover, spacing, diameter and quantity. With the piece of information, they can run structural integrity analysis to determine the maximum load allowed in the building.
S-Ray has assisted in collecting required information without damaging or hacking the existing structure. This has allowed the hotel to run their operations as usual with no dust, vibration or noise during the process.
