Underwater Piles Cutting
The Challenge
A port needs to build a new dry dock platform for the ships. As part of demolition project, Sonicon was assigned an underwater cut job to remove too thick piles at 15-meters depth from sea level!
Our Approach & Result
To do so, the most efficient and innovative underwater cutting tool is using Diamond Wire Sawing. Sonicon performed the underwater demolition aided by the dive expert to complete the job.
Even though the whole process were risky and dangerous, but the results of the cooperative effort exceed everyone’s expectations and clients were able to realize substantial time and cost savings from this job.
