Ramp Cutting at Ikea Penang

IKEA’s parking ramp was completed, and we were assigned to form ‘herringbone’ pattern groove lines for the external ramps. Groove line acts as a traction to grip tires to reduce the speed of vehicles when entering the parking area. It is important as it improves slip resistance of vehicles. We cut the line by following the standard guideline approximately of 25mm (W) x 25mm (D) at 200mm centres using Sonicon Advanced Groove Line Cutting Machine.
