The Challenge
At an ongoing service residence development in Kuala Lumpur, we were called in to perform reinforced concrete cutting through crane foundations and a number of structural beams measuring from 600mm to 1000mm with thickness of >1.2m. These elements were heavily reinforced and built to support significant loads during the early construction phase. With ongoing works happening around the site, the cuts had to be completed precisely, with minimal vibration, noise, and debris to avoid disruption to nearby trades and activities.
