Malaysia First Reinstatement Works with Robot & Semi Automated Equipment
The Challenge
A supermarket in a shopping mall needs to be reinstated by demolishing cold room raised slab, walls, remove tiles and screed to prepare for the upcoming anchor tenant fast. While the shopping mall is still operating, work method must be efficient enough to ensure other shops will not be affected during the whole process.
Our Approach
As this is the first time in Malaysia deploying equipment and robotics in demolition works, Sonicon aim to revolutionize, revamp and change the way upgrading and refurbishment works are done in construction jobsite. Hence, Sonicon deployed Robotic Breaker, Parana Milling and Semi Automated Battery Ride On Battery Scrapers to execute the works, replacing the old conventional labour intensive methods.
The Result
- As Parana Milling is able to determine the milling level, therefore a certain screed level is retained.
- There is no need for the owner to re-lay 50mm of screed with this method, time and cost of debris clearing + future laying of screed level has been tremendously saved.
- Increase productivity and safety while helping clients to save project cost and time while improving service quality.
